The NSF Certified for Sport® program helps athletes make safer decisions when choosing sports supplements. In addition to testing for over 280+ athletic banned substances, products bearing the Certified for Sport® mark on package must be produced in a manufacturing facility that is inspected annually to comply with the U.S. FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. Label claims are verified and products are tested to verify formulation. The product is also tested for harmful levels of contaminants, such as heavy metals or fraudulent ingredients.
